The Road Ahead: Legacy and Inspiration

Together, Phillips, Bolino, Fredenburg, LaPolla, Carfangia, Geracitano, and Van Horn formed more than a golf team — they built a culture. One based on accountability, mutual respect, and relentless competitiveness. Each of them, whether scoring at states or grinding in the background, played a part in crafting one of the most dominant three-year runs in Ohio high school golf history. Their legacy is more than trophies — it’s in the foundation they laid for future Eagles to soar. Bryce Van Horn ’23 Known for his work ethic and team-first mindset, Bryce was a quiet but the unequivocal leader of the 2023 team. Van Horn’s dedication helped raise the bar every day for his teammates. The 2024 graduate went on to play Division I Golf at St. Francis Taggart Carfangia ’25 Carfangia brought veteran leadership and consistency to the lineup. In matches throughout the regular season, he helped JFK maintain its elite form and readiness heading into postseason play. Preston Geracitano ’26 A dedicated and promising talent, Geracitano added energy and enthusiasm to the team environment. Always ready to contribute, he represented the next wave of JFK golfers — talented, coachable, and team-oriented.
