LIVING MOLLOY’S MISSION AT HOME & ABROAD
Serving International Communities: To supplement our service provision on the ground in Jamaica, W.I., Molloy faculty now maintain Jamaican registrations as speech- language pathologists throughout the year. This enables us to supervise our students as they virtually provide services to clients in Jamaica, throughout the calendar year. We have implemented a unique program wherein clients receive services virtually each semester and also receive a face to face therapy session when we are traveling. Further, this program integrates a student clinician mentorship model which benefits the students and the clients who experience increased consistency.
Molloy CSD students, faculty and staff live the Molloy Mission at home and abroad. Whether it is our regularly occurring service trips to Jamaica, W.I., or our local service provision at any number of sites, our students and faculty are happy to ensure accessibility of services for those who might not otherwise be served.
