Community Care Mobile Clinic : Serving The Local Communities :
Molloy’s Community Care Mobile Clinic provides valuable health care services to individuals in need. Speech-Language Pathology students and faculty engage in clinical practice with students and colleagues in nursing, social work, music therapy, and clinical mental health counseling. Mother Cabrini Health Foundation funding allows us to offer free hearing, speech, language, and cognitive screenings, as well as follow-up evaluation, treatment and hearing aid services free of charge. We are living Molloy’s mission.
Other Community Based Programs:
We are proud to also donate services weekly at varied sites. While our reach continues to expand into varied types of schools and facilities, our relationship with Nassau County’s Head Start programs is long standing. Molloy’s students recognize the established impact of early childhood language enhancement. As we enter our fifteenth year of partnering with the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, we would like to acknowledge Kristin Brelsford, M.S. CCC-SLP TSHH who has been the primary clinical educator at these sites and recently celebrated her tenth year anniversary at Molloy in 2024.
