CONNECT Program for Neurodivergent College Students
Dr. Erin Reilly is the lead instructor of the Connect lab and helped create the program. She also teaches a class and helps with the recruitment of students entering the program. The Connect program was designed to give students who identify as neurodivergent additional academic and social supports that they do not receive through college. The Connect lab is a class that helps students set social and leadership goals as well as promotes self-advocacy. The speech, language, and hearing pathology graduate students are supervised by Dr. Reilly. She emphasized that students look forward to coming to class every day and participating in the discussion posts, which is a very rewarding part of the program.
