Braham Electric celebrates HR and Office manager’s prestigious achievement

AP Haslam on the road for a great cause

Last September, AP Haslam Managing Director Paul Haslam and his team took it to the roads to raise funds for charity. Aboard his Porsche, Paul crossed 1000km of Irish open roads during the three days of Cannonball Ireland. The event is the largest organised road trip in Europe, and millions of excited fans have witnessed the crazy Cannonball convoy of cars pass through their town, city, or bend in the road with over 190 supercars, wacky fun cars, and monster

wheels every year. This time, AP Haslam fundraised for The Hope Foundation, dedicated to rescuing children from the streets in Kolkata, India, and the Arc Cancer Support, which provides psychological, emotional, practical, and educational support to people with cancer and their carers. “We were delighted to sponsor, support, and take part in the Cannonball 2022, a great event for all ages, as well as raising funds for such worthy causes,” Paul commented.

HR and Office manager Josephine Morgan has been working for Braham Electrical for over 25 years and has both gained and given back a wealth of knowledge to the company. She has achieved the prestigious CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Strategic People Management and had her dedication crowned by the Part-Time Student of the Year Award in Professional Services from the Southern Regional College in Newry. The course contributed to Josephine’s desire to extend and deepen her skills and understanding of strategic people management to shape strategies and policies and drive L&D forward for the company’s stakeholders. “In an ever-changing world, employees need to be adaptable, and this has directed Braham Electrical to focus on upskilling their staff,” explains Josephine. “Completing the CIPD Level 7 Diploma helped me develop my expertise in the HR field and achieve the professional qualification as CIPD Associate.”
