We are simply delighted with the final work and the building as a whole.” Based in Bangor, Hanover are an innovative company specialising in supplying the complete power distribution solution, total building control, automatic meter reading and energy efficiency solutions.

closely with Antrim Electrical & Mechanical Engineers Ltd to

supply all the switchgear for The Ewart Building in Bedford Square. The company used Schneider Electric components in the main switchboard and Hager switchgear through their Invicta 3 and H3 range. All boards were fitted with galvanised trunking arrangements, surge protection and multifunction metering. Hanover also installed MCCB panel boards, distribution boards and final circuit protection devices. One of the challenges found by the company during the project was the size of the switch room, located in the new 17-storeys office tower. The team had to use their vast design experience to ensure the switchgear was suitable for the limited space, but it all worked
