Associate of Science in Aviation Business Administration
Master of Business Administration in Aviation The MBAA enables students to advance into leadership roles with its one-of-a-kind curriculum, themed around High-Reliability Organization (HRO) foundations. The program is designed with an intense focus on areas identified as critical for managers to understand and execute in an organization, specifically in the aerospace and aviation industries. The core of the program focuses on risk management as well as the complexities of today’s global business landscape. Our MBAA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Master of Business Administration in Aviation in Partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Airlines are under constant pressure from governments, passengers, direct competitors and industry. This program teaches students to successfully manage operations in high-risk, high-reliability and complex aviation environments, promoting a deep understanding of how the aviation business works. IATA represents nearly 300 airlines that make up 83% of global air traffic. Through this partnership, we offer a groundbreaking curriculum taught through an unrivaled industry lens. This program features an airline management certificate, providing a comprehensive understanding of various airline business models and revenue management strategies.
The A.S. in Aviation Business Administration teaches students analytical and critical thinking skills to help solve today’s most complex aviation business challenges. The program is designed to help students develop the business skills needed to advance their career. Through this comprehensive program, students gain a solid foundation of core business knowledge while developing a sharp business acumen and learning to think analytically, communicate clearly and lead a team effectively. Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration The B.S. in Aviation Business Administration explores all aspects of aviation business, including airport management and airfield management. Students are prepared to excel in the high-energy aviation sector through a program that emphasizes a comprehensive grasp of aviation alongside outstanding proficiency in business. PROGRAMS Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics The B.S. in Business Analytics teaches the use and analysis of data to solve real-world business problems and drive optimal outcomes. Students learn how to source and analyze data to generate insightful results within an ethical framework. Based on practical examples, graduates will be ready to identify business opportunities, constraints and needs for data analytics, synthesize data output into clear insights, create executable solutions and apply concepts in data presentation and visualization to communicate results effectively.
Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management The B.S. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management provides students with the tools needed for managing the procurement, maintenance and transportation of material, personnel and equipment. In addition to gaining problem-solving and decision-making skills, students gain experience with inventory management, purchasing and procurement, tracking metrics and solutions for warehousing, distribution and transportation operations. Bachelor of Science in Project Management The B.S. in Project Management develops professionals who are capable of leading and managing while applying decision-making skills in current project management practices. Designed to position students for success in the project management field, this program teaches soft and hard skills that empower leadership and problem solving. The M.S. in Engineering Management is designed for working professionals with a desire to enhance their management skills in a technical environment. Students learn in-demand skills, enabling them to do anything from managing employees and supervising day-to-day operations to leading large and complex projects. Crafted in collaboration with industry partners, the program ensures students are well-positioned to increase the efficiency and bottom line of any organization. Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management The M.S. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management equips students with analytical, negotiation and managerial globalization skills. Students receive an education that distinguishes them from other professionals and makes them more marketable in the public and private sectors. Areas of study include acquisition, sustainability, integrated logistics, collaborative supply chains, distribution management and process optimization.
The M.S. in Management Information Systems helps students develop the strategic understanding they need to become skilled professionals in their field. The program is centered on the system-of-systems perspective, which allows managers and leaders to adopt and adapt the enterprise perspective to meet organizational needs. Students can choose from two specialization tracks: Information Technology Management or Business Intelligence and Analytics. Master of Science in Project Management The M.S. in Project Management develops project management professionals with additional skills specific to aviation, who manage programs and optimize organizations’ project management systems and policies. Students are equipped with technical soft skills of communication and team leadership and hard skills of quantitative analysis to solve project problems. American Association of Airport Executives – Worldwide Chapter The student chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) at Embry-Riddle’s College of Business provides opportunities for growth through practical experiences and professional connections. The AAAE chapter aims to offer innovative ways for students to connect both online and in person, facilitating the sharing of industry best practices and fostering relationships with peers, industry partners and future employers. As a recognized chapter, students gain access to valuable AAAE benefits, including access to the AAAE Annual Conference and other conferences. National Society of Leadership and Success In the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), students collaborate with other student leaders, develop their leadership skills and drive positive change. The NSLS is the largest and the only accredited collegiate leadership program in the nation, boosting the resumes of involved students and promoting connection among students at Embry-Riddle and other institutions. From networking to event planning to community outreach, students in this organization expand upon the skills, knowledge and experience they gain in the classroom through involvement that gives back to their community. These grants are available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled at least half-time in a degree program. To remain eligible, you must make satisfactory academic progress and not be in default or owe a return repayment on a grant or loan.
