Drillers had a more favourable view on many other items, all of which are the responsibility of the exploration company as the titleholder. When it comes to outlook, the projected drilling activity for the next 12 months remains subdued. While a small proportion of respondents anticipate an uptick in activity, over 50% expect conditions to remain flat or to worsen. Respondents cited the interplay of regulatory uncertainty, fiscal pressures, and labour constraints as factors likely to limit growth in the near term.
