Queensland explorers by market capitalisation A key insight into the state of Queensland’s mineral exploration is the market capitalisation distribution of its explorers. Figure 6 illustrates the junior (<A$100 million), mid and major (>A$1 billion) explorers across Queensland as of September 2025. The vast distribution in the market capitalisation of junior explorers is clearly visible. This is further evidenced by the information captured in the Exploration Sentiment survey, which found 58% of respondents were under A$100 million market capitalisation, and 34% under A$10 million market capitalisation.
