Through a competitive process, RWP selected Project Youth+, Valley Immediate Care, and Golden Rule ReEntry as service providers who are aligned with this mission. These organizations have been selected as partners to deliver employer-driven, rapid reskill-upskill training programs resulting in industry-recognized credentials. The ultimate goal is to equip participants with the necessary skills and competencies to secure family-sustaining careers, thereby fostering economic resilience and social mobility within these communities. Rogue Workforce Partnership is dedicated to creating a demand-driven workforce system in Southern Oregon. By aligning the skills of job-seekers with the demands of local industries and harnessing investments and collaborative partnerships within the region, we aim to enhance access to thriving career opportunities for all individuals while driving forward the local economy. n

launch of two workforce development programs in the month of March: Rogue Business Elevate and Future Ready Oregon/Prosperity 10,000. With the announcement of award recipients and work beginning on these training reimbursement and grant subrecipient programs, RWP is excited for the transformative work that is being done with industry partners in Southern Oregon. Rogue Business Elevate is an innovative training reimbursement program pioneered by RWP. With the mission to foster career advancement, retention, and job creation for local industry, RWP invested $50,000 toward reimbursing on-the-job trainings and incumbent worker trainings through a competative application process. The response to Rogue Business Elevate has

been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the program’s success in addressing a great need within the business community. Due to the high demand of applicants, RWP is looking forward to expanding the scope of the program and adjusting the budget for the next round of applications to serve even more businesses. Through the Future Ready Oregon/Prosperity 10,000 initiative, Rogue Workforce Partnership was able to identify and partner with three organizations that have commited to uplifting historically under-served communities in Southern Oregon. Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, the program aims to provide workforce services to communities of color, women, low-wage families, individuals with disabilities, rural populations, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and justice- involved individuals, among others.
