For the Kappa Foundation of Fort Washington (KFFW), proceeds from the Kappa Takeover provide key sup- port to community giving. The KFFW proudly awards nearly 30 scholarships annually to deserving students. These scholarships not only ease the financial burden of higher education but also empower young individuals to pursue their dreams. This commitment
reflects the foundation’s belief in investing in the leaders of tomorrow. A significant portion of funds has been contributed to the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center Founda- tion, helping combat domestic violence and human trafficking by providing essential resources to those in need. Additionally, KFFW has made generous donations to the World Food Bank, as
well as local elementary and high schools. These contributions support initiatives aimed at enhancing educational oppor- tunities and youth resources. KFFW also engages in food and coat drives to support families in need and ensure that basic necessities are met. The Bowie-Mitchellville Diamond Foundation (BMDF) has a similar
