A Renaissance in Real Time The Kappa Alpha Psi® Foundation is reimagining giving, growth, and impact

Adkinson, Board Secretary, Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation O ver the past decade, the Kappa Alpha Psi® Foundation has undergone a remarkable come- back, a true renaissance grounded in purpose, fueled by vision, and driven by real, measurable results. With steady leadership, disciplined financial stew- ardship, and a renewed commitment to uplifting young people, the Foundation has reemerged as both a model of achievement and a force for meaningful change in our communities. RENEWAL TO RESURGENCE In 2019, the Foundation launched the “New Way Forward” Capital Cam- paign, an ambitious, multi-year effort designed to strengthen its endowment, expand youth programs, and provide sustainable funding for the Fraternity’s signature initiatives—Guide Right, Kappa Kamp, and the Undergraduate Leadership Institute. Under the leadership of 104th Elder Watson Diggs Awardee and President Michael J. Dubose, and in partnership with 34th Grand Polemarch Reuben A. Shelton III, Esq., the Foundation charted a new strategic direction that emphasized transparency, account- ability, and measurable outcomes. Over time, the campaign not only reinvigorated the Foundation’s financial base but also restored donor confidence and corporate engagement

across the globe. By 2024, the Foundation’s assets had grown from $3.8 million to $5.8 million, with revenues exceeding $1.2
million. Across that same period, more than $2.8 million was disbursed to support scholarships, community programs, and Fraternity initiatives.
