A NEW CHAPTER IN A LEGACY OF ACHIEVEMENT “This evening was more than a cele- bration—it was a powerful reminder of the impact we can create when we unite to support the next generation and honor those who have served our nation with distinction,” shared 88th Elder Watson Diggs Awardee Donald C. Bland, Celebration of Achievement Committee Chairman. For Bland, the night marked not just an event, but a declaration of intent years in the making. “As we look to the future, we reaffirm our promise to uplift our youth, empower communities, and create a lasting impact through educa- tion, leadership, and service.” The evening began with a cocktail reception featuring a three-piece jazz ensemble and a silent auction. Guests then entered the ballroom to enjoy a gourmet dinner, live entertainment by The Franchise Band, and a program filled with tributes, awards, and heart- felt reflections. The program began with welcome remarks by Chairman Bland and greetings from Grand Pole- march Jimmy McMikle. CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE At the heart of the gala were fourteen outstanding young men—scholars from high schools and colleges across the nation—recognized for their aca- demic excellence, leadership potential, and resilience. More than $500,000 was raised to support the Frater- nity’s and Foundation’s collective
