my congratulations to Laura Lanza, a person I’ve known for virtually all my time covering National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) meetings. At the recently concluded Annual meeting, I was happy to learn that Laura was installed as the new President of NCCA. She’s a veteran of more than 20 years in various phases of the industry. Laura launched here career in 1990 in the steel service center industry, has worked with pre-painted prod- ucts and coatings, including mill and coil coater experience. She is presently employed at Aleris Roll Products. Sales and marketing have been the primary focus of her job and with her work with NCCA. During her tenure in NCCA she served as chair of the Marketing Committee for seven years and was very actively involved in developing the many tools that help promote the sales of pre-painted metal products, During her tenure as President , she urges everyone to find new ways to promote the tools of NCCAwithin each organization and reach deeper in member companies and educate more people, and continue the association’s vision of being a unified organization providing resources and leadership for coil-coated materials to be the product of choice. Again, I and all the CW staff wish you success in your tenure as NCCA President.

Phil Colaiacovo
