Message from Hon. Founder PNC MENON - FOUNDER , SOBHA GROUP
Building a Future Anchored in Care
At Sobha, our purpose has never been limited to what meets the eye. We are known for our craftsmanship, precision, and pursuit of excellence, but our true legacy lies in the lives we touch. When I first dreamed of creating Sobha, I wanted to build more than structures; I wanted to build a place that creates opportunity for all and has compassion as care as their core principles. Over time, I realized that real success comes not from what we own, but from what we can give back. That thought shaped the foundation of Sobha Care. Sobha Care is not an act of charity; it was an act of responsibility. A recognition that those who help us build this dream deserve
to build a dream life for their loved ones. Sobha Care was born from this conviction - to stand beside the people who form the backbone of our organization: our technicians and their families. Today, Sobha Care represents the highest expression of who we are. It is the living embodiment of our belief that when we care deeply for people, we transform entire generations. Through education, housing, empowerment, and welfare, we are not just creating support systems; we are nurturing futures. My greatest pride comes from the lives that flourish because of the work we do for our technicians. That, to me, is the true measure of what Sobha stands for: a company with a heart that beats for its people.

Message from Chairman RAVI MENON - CHAIRMAN SOBHA GROUP
Building With Purpose, Living With Compassion
Every company has a vision. Ours has always been clear: to build excellence in everything we do. But at Sobha, excellence is not confined to the end product delivery; it further extends to how we treat the people who make our vision real. Sobha Care is not a program; it is a culture. It is a reflection of our deepest value: giving back with care . It carries forward the philosophy laid by our founder, that success is only meaningful when it uplifts others. Through the Sobha Care initiatives, we see this philosophy come to life every day. A technician’s daughter who can now go to school. A family that can live in a
home they call their own. A mother who feels empowered to make decisions for her future. These are not stories of aid - they are stories of dignity, growth, and transformation. What makes me most proud is that this spirit of care is now embedded in Sobha’s DNA. It flows naturally through our people, in how we think, how we act, and how we build. As we look ahead, we will continue to strengthen this culture where compassion is not an initiative but an instinct. Because we are not only building structures that stand the test of time; we are building a legacy of care that will stand the test of generations.

Message from Managing Director FRANCIS ALFRED - MANAGING DIRECTOR, SOBHA REALTY
Where Craftsmanship Meets Compassion
Sobha Care is not just an initiative; it is a reflection of who we are as an organisation. It embodies a culture that chooses to do the right thing — not for recognition, but because compassion and integrity are part of our foundation. It carries forward our Founder’s principles and our collective belief that true progress is achieved when people rise together. As we move forward, let us continue to build with care — care for our technicians, for the craft they uphold, and for the communities we serve. For when we build with care, we create more than structures; we build a legacy that supports and uplifts generations to come.
10 Our technicians embody the dedication, skill, and pride that define Sobha. Their unwavering commitment to their craft brings life to every structure we create and reflects the values we stand for as an organisation. Sobha Care was created from the vision of our Founder, Mr. PNC Menon — a vision grounded in gratitude and respect for the very people who shape our world with their hands and their hard work. What began as a gesture of giving back has grown into a transformative movement, uplifting countless lives through education, marriage support, empowerment, housing, and much more. Every initiative carries a story of hope rekindled and opportunities renewed.
Let us continue to build with care

Message from Anish V John Chief Development Officer
Message from Karthikraj Rajendran Engineering excellence is about precision, but leadership is about compassion. Through Sobha Care, we are reminded that every calculation, every plan, every milestone gains meaning only when it uplifts lives. Our goal has never been only to construct world-class projects, but to create an ecosystem where our people thrive. Because when every technician feels seen, supported, and valued, excellence naturally follows. That is how Sobha builds — with care that lasts.
Chief Project Officer
Message from Safeer Mohammed COO - Latinem Global Capability Centre HR Director - Transformation | HR Head Sobha has always felt like a family, and Sobha Care brings that belief to life. When we stand beside our technicians in moments that matter most, a child’s birth, a wedding, a new home, we reaffirm what truly defines us: humanity at the heart of our success. Sobha Care isn’t an initiative; it’s a reflection of who we are. It’s the quiet, consistent promise that every person at Sobha matters. Every structure we raise stands on the shoulders of our technicians. Their dedication, resilience, and craft are what make Sobha extraordinary. Sobha Care reminds us that our greatest responsibility is not just to build well, but to care deeply for the people who make that possible. We do not just believe in supporting our technicians, but also the people who matter the most to them. That belief is what builds enduring culture.

OUR GOAL HAS NEVER BEEN ONLY TO CONSTRUCT WORLD-CLASS PROJECTS, BUT TO CREATE AN ECOSYSTEM WHERE OUR PEOPLE THRIVE.

Transforming Sobha Care: LIVES, Empowering Communities
15
16
At Sobha, care is more than a responsibility, it’s a way of LIFE
Under the patronage of our esteemed Founder, Mr. PNC Menon, Sobha Care stands as a heartfelt man- ifestation of his vision and generosity. Guided by his extraordinary decision to pledge 50% of his personal wealth to charitable causes, this initiative was born from a deep belief in giving back with purpose. What began as his desire to support not only our techni- cians, but also their families, has grown into one of the region’s most transformative corporate welfare programs. Through this flagship CSR initiative, we are translat- ing compassion into meaningful action — creating positive change that will be felt across homes, com- munities, and generations. Sobha Care is built on a simple yet powerful philosophy: Today, that spirit lives in every blessing granted, every dream supported, and every life touched, reminding us that true excellence is measured not only by what we build, but by how deeply we care. when we uplift one family, we strengthen the entire community.

How Sobha Employees Are Redefining Innovation Every big change begins with a small idea, and at Sobha, those ideas come from everywhere. From the construction sites to the design studios, from technicians to team leads, every voice has the power to shape how we work and who we become. Sobha Ideas was created to capture that spirit - a platform that turns everyday insights into real improvements. What started as a humble initiative has evolved into a culture where innovation is everyone’s responsibility and creativity is part of our daily routin e. The Power of an Idea
Back in 2021, only 41 ideas were shared. But once the spark caught on, it spread fast. Year after year, participation grew — and so did our collective imagination: From a Few Sparks to a Movement

IDEAS SHARED

Each milestone marked more than numbers, it represented people stepping forward, solving problems, and finding smarter, safer, more efficient ways to do what we do best. Under the leadership of our Managing Director, initiatives like Mission 1000, Mission 10,000, and 2X pushed the boundaries of what was possible, embedding Total Employee Involvement (TEI) into the very DNA of Sobha’s TQM journey.
Turning Ideas into Impact An idea only matters when it’s acted upon, and that’s where Sobha’s strength lies. Out of 13,187 ideas targeted for implementation, an impressive 11,725 have already been brought to life, marking an %89 success rate. That means thousands of suggestions, from saving time and materials to improving safety, comfort, and sustainability, are now part of our everyday work. These aren’t just statistics. They’re proof that when every individual feels empowered to think, speak, and contribute, an organization transforms from within.

Idea Title: Resizing current air balancing hood with Masking tape.
Idea Title: Efficient and safe sump pit cleaning using specialized tools, eliminating the need for manual entry.
Idea Title: Method of installing fire interlocks in fire pumps and FCC room, avoiding multiple ALM back boxes and GI materials.
Condition Before: Air balancing for various duct sizes requires different hoods, each costing around 4000 AED. For an apartment, approximately 3 to 4 hoods are needed.
Condition Aafter: We use masking tapes for resizing the current hoods to required sizes.
Condition Before: Cleaning the waste that accumulates inside the sump pit is challenging due to the confined space, limited accessibility, and the nature of debris that enters the tank. Solid waste, sludge, and sediments tend to settle at the bottom, making manual removal difficult. Additionally, restricted visibility and the presence of water further complicates the cleaning process.
Condition Aafter: With this technique, we can effectively clean the sump pit without the need for anyone to physically enter it. By utilizing specialized tools and equipment, we can efficiently remove waste and debris, ensuring a safer and more hygienic cleaning process. This method not only improves worker safety but also enhances the overall maintenance efficiency of the sump pit.
Condition Before: Setting multiple alarm back boxes in FCC room and Fire pump room are time consuming, money consuming and labor intensive.
Condition Aafter: Fire interlock system is used instead of multiple alarm back boxes in FCC room and Fire pump room
Tangible Benefits: The use of masking tapes helps to replace the works of 3 or 4 hoods with a single one. Each hood costs 4000 AED, this idea helps to save almost 12000 AED.
Tangible Benefits: Cost reduced, Easy to clean, Improve safety.
Tangible Benefits: The work is easy, uses limited materials, and helps maintain cost control.

Idea Title: Ducting inside liner using for 12mm thickness.
Idea Title: Improving material handling and storage efficiency for stone slabs
Condition Before: The jumpform ACS jack motors operate during jumps. It’s necessary to keep them enclosed since dust and water can affect the motor.
Condition Aafter: A ply-based box has been cut and fixed around the motor, protecting it from dust and rainwater.
Condition Before: The duct inside the liner used 25mm thickness, leaving limited space inside and making work difficult.
Condition Aafter: The duct inside the liner now uses 12mm thickness, saving space.
Condition Before: Stone slabs were stored and moved manually, which occupied more floor space and created a cluttered environment. Due to the lack of an organized system, handling and moving slabs was more time-consuming and potentially hazards.
Condition Aafter: Stone slabs are now organized in a mobile rack, enabling easy handling and efficient use of space. This minimizes floor space usage and reduces clutter. A pallet jack is used to transport slabs that are neatly stacked on a pallet, allowing for more slabs to be moved at once and reducing manual lifting.

Idea Title: Enhancing gypsum casting accuracy with plywood molds.
Condition Before: The end portion of the curved gypsum piece was roughly cut and finished manually using a saw, leading to an uneven edge with exposed fibers. This method resulted in extra time spent on finishing and a weaker structure at the edges.
Condition Aafter: A plywood mold was used to create a precise and clean edge at the end of the gypsum piece, ensuring proper shaping and reducing the need for manual corrections. This method provided a smoother, stronger finish.

At Sobha Constructions, sustaining high HSSE standards is a continuous mission. Technicians, supervisors, and teams work daily to ensure that safety, health, and environmental practices are embedded in routine operations. Through regular audits and inspections, refresher training, toolbox talks, behavioral observations, and feedback from near misses or incidents, every technician is engaged as a partner in safety. These efforts ensure that world-class safety standards are not just achieved-they are lived. Demonstrating that excellence in HSSE is a continuous journey, not a destination.
Investment in TRAININGS & CAMPAIGNS
Sobha prioritizes the training and development of technicians to ensure their safety and skill growth. Comprehensive programs cover hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency procedures, and the correct use of personal protective equipment. Specialized certification courses and hands-on simulations provide practical experience in real-world scenarios. Regular safety briefings, mock drills, and ongoing professional development opportunities reinforce a culture of continuous learning, empowering technicians to work safely and confidently every day.

In a milestone achievement, Sobha Group has launched the GCC’s first Mobile Safety Training Unit (MSTU), a groundbreaking initiative that brings world-class safety training directly to our workforce. No longer confined to classrooms, safety education now travels to the sites, ensuring that every technician has access to hands-on learning, practical demonstrations, and real- time guidance. A Landmark Initiative: The Mobile Safety Training Unit (MSTU)
The launch event was graced by Mr. Francis Alfred, Managing Director of Sobha Group, whose forward-thinking vision continues to shape the organization’s growth and innovation.
Mr. Manoj Gopalakrishnan, Chief HSSE Officer, highlighted the significance of the MSTU, stating: “Our workforce is our greatest asset. The Mobile Safety Training Unit ensures that learning is not confined to classrooms—it travels to where our people are, making safety a habit, not just a directive.”
