FAVOURITE PLACE by Emma W.
Where’s your favourite place to be Is it sitting here with me? Where’s the place you find yourself Comfortable and free? Where’s the place your world collides With the universe and all inside Where’s the place your heart is true Where you can be just you?
My favourite place I have to be is in my car where I feel like me It’s the place I sit and think Often connecting the missing links The place I laugh inward or ridiculously loud The place that takes me away from the crowd The only place I silently cry or let the tears fall down my face without a why I step into my car and it’s like a mini world A universe where I’m always heard Life in my car isn’t lonely, it’s where my music blasts out and I’m less than holy My second home that’s all my own Where I am never alone.
