Not any nightguard but a custom fitted nightguard like I can make for you. The joint on your jaw moves in three directions. Forward, back, side to side and open and close. All your other joints move in only one plane. Look at your elbow or knee for comparison. Meaning the nightguard has to be made and fitted by a professional. Do not buy an over the counter or mail order contraption. Yes contraption. You use your jaw every day and damaging them is not good. Bottom line: if you are having the above symptoms call us for an evaluation. We will tell you if you are at risk. We can always clean your teeth at the same time. Something your friends and loved ones will appreciate.
