Cont. from Page A5 we have in the pulpits of our land an appreciable number of ministers who are defending this sort of business. They have no Gospel to preach for apparently they do not even know what the Gospel consists of and in stead they are devoting their time, talents and energy in an endeavor to get the people of their congregations likewise to dedicate themselves to this nefarious cause. Men and women everywhere who know the redeeming love of the Lord Jesus Christ in their own hearts and lives should rise in outspoken rebellion a g a i n s t this abominable conduct of the clergy. They should let it be known that they will have nothing to do with clergy men of that type, especially to support them financially, for the money area is where it hurts! This is not the time to defend civil rights. This is the time to call for a return to law and order. Once that has been estab lished, then, we can begin to redefine what constitutes one’s rights and civil liberties. Then once again this will become a land of which we can be proud and in which we may be free to worship God according to the dic tates of our hearts and consciences. Christians should pray as never be fore as they go to the polls and cast their votes. It might be our last chance.
