A content refresh for NI Builder

Welcome to the March/April edition of NI Builder. We had promised a content refresh for 2026 and are excited to deliver a vibrant new NI Housebuilder section, packed with news and updates from this key sector of Northern Ireland’s construction industry. Another new feature, Al’s Tool Talk, will offer informed reviews of the latest tools and equipment on the market from popular social media personality Alan O Connor. Case studies this edition range from Bell Contracts’ sustainable housing development in Moneymore to MSM Contracts’ high-tech car showroom for Agnew Group in Belfast. And a growing trend in the construction industry, the use of timber frames, is showcased with Western Building Systems’ project completing modular accommodation for a special educational needs school in Belfast. Builders’ merchant news, meanwhile, includes John Shilliday Ltd in Castlewellan celebrating its 100th anniversary, Haldane Fisher innovating with a new Render Center in Lisburn, and JP Corry’s Supplier Awards recognising its key partners. Enjoy! Alyson Magee
