Tell us about the business Turkington Windows & Conservatories has been a
supplier and installer of windows, doors and conservatories since 1982. Our founding company JH Turkington & Sons was founded in 1951 by Harry Turkington and is still owned and run by the Turkington family, who are actively involved in many prestigious projects right across Northern Ireland. What products & services do you supply? We supply PVC and aluminium windows; composite, PVC, aluminium entrance and both lift- and-slide and bifold aluminium doors; solar-controlled glass roof conservatories; garden rooms with flat roofs and glass lanterns; and tiled sunrooms. These can be offered with double or triple glazing. We also supply roof line products. What are your USPs? We are in the unique position of being able to offer the very best products, coupled with highly-experienced fitting teams and a dedicated aftercare team. Our customers routinely take advantage of try before you buy. Both our Lisburn and Portadown showrooms have undergone recent major refurbishments. What are your most notable projects in Northern Ireland? Having 40-plus years of experience, we have been involved in major projects with the likes of the Laganside Courts, university accommodation in Belfast with GRAHAM and big retail names such as B&Q, Starbucks and M&S. What are the key opportunities & challenges in the housebuilding sector? We are very active in trying to draw housebuilders to the quality of our products and making them aware of treating their investment as a lifetime one.
