GLENVEAGH SCHOOL, BELFAST PROJECT PROFILE
A UNIQUE ZERO-EMBODIED-CARBON HYBRID VENTILATION SYSTEM ENSURES A QUIET, COMFORTABLE AND ENERGY-EFFICIENT ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH STUDENTS AND STAFF… Full installation by HTC Mechanical Services
A full mechanical installation, comprising plumbing, heating, and soil, waste, ventilation and air conditioning systems, was completed by HTC Mechanical Services Ltd. Notable elements of the installation included a Monodraught HVR Zero hybrid ventilation system. The first hybrid recovery system of its kind with zero embodied carbon, the system ensures a quiet, comfortable and energy-efficient environment for both students and staff. Sarah Campbell, Contracts Manager, says, “It was a great job to be part of, with all trades working together seamlessly to deliver an excellent install within the designated timeframe. “The successful completion of the mechanical installation at a special needs school in Belfast was a highly satisfying
milestone for our company. Knowing that our work contributes to a facility designed to support pupils with additional needs makes this project especially meaningful. “It remains a standout project within our portfolio due to both its technical delivery and its positive impact on the local community.” HTC Mechanical was established in 1996 by Hugh Thomas Campbell and is now a second-generation family business servicing clients across the UK and Ireland.
