T H E K I N G ’ S B U S I N E S S Approach: A few weeks ago I was in a home where a little girl lives who loves Jesus and goes to Sunday School every Sunday unless she is sick, and this day she and the BEGINNERS mother were very AND PRIMARY happy indeed, the Mabel L. Merrill little girl j u s t jumped up and down and clapped her hands for joy, she was so happy. What do you think made this little girl so very happy? There were two little brothers and a sis ter besides this little girl, and you know everything we have to buy to eat and wear Costs lots of money these days, and the mother and the little girl were wondering about the clothes, and this little girl was the oldest and she knew her dress she had been wearing to Sun day School was wearing out. A lady who knew these people came to the house one day and found out from the mother the size of each child in the home and then in a few weeks she came back with some nice new clothes which she had made for them, and of course they were very happy. This lady that bought and made the clothes loved Jesus and she wanted to do this kind ness because her heart was full of love. Let us thank Jesus for His love, that makes people kind and loving and thoughtful for other people. There were poor people here just as there are poor people here and every where, and some of these poor were wearing some nice, new, warm clothes and they were telling about a kind woman who had worked hard sewing to make the nice warm clothes for them to

One day this kind woman Dorcas was taken very sick and after a little while she died. Every body who knew Dorcas loved her be cause of her kind acts and the beautiful life she lived because her heart was filled with Jesus’ love, and the poor people whom she had made clothes for and helped in many other ways felt very sad indeed. Some of the friends of Dorcas heard that Peter, who war one of Jesus’ disciples, was in a town near by, and they sent for him to come to them as soon as possible. Peter some of you will remember was the disciple who walked on the water to Jesus. When Peter came to the house, they took him to the up stairs room where the body of Dorcas lay, and all the poor widows whom Dorcas had helped, stood by him, showing the coats and garments she had made for them when she was alive. Peter had them all leaye the room, and he kneeled down
