Built in the 1980s as AT&T’s Long Lines headquarters, the property today serves as the telecom giant’s New Jersey operational hub and is distinguished by the company’s state-of-the-art Global Network Operations Center. In 2007, Cushman & Wakefield orchestrated the prop- erty’s sale/leaseback to MetLife. The 2015 renewal follows an extensive, 18-month examination of alterna- tives to relocate or partially renew the lease, as well as the renegotiation of the existing lease. Ultimately, this full lease renewal ensures that the property will serve as AT&T’s regional base for the next 10 years.
