Valley Rehab Is Looking Forward To Our UPCOMING MOVE TO A NEW FACILITY
As Valley Rehab Center approaches the end of its’ fifth year of business we are pleased to announce that we will be moving to a larger and more accessible space in January, 2018. We are excited for the opportunity to stay in Bellaire and will be moving to 3050 Guernsey St. As many of you know, our clinic started in shared space with Ohio Valley Chiropractic Clinic, owned by Dr. Jeff Hoepfner. Dr. Jeff took a leap of faith by allowing me to start my clinic using his space and equipment. Without his help and confidence Valley Rehab Center would not have come into existence. For this I am forever grateful and thankful. I have been honored and humbled to work closely with Dr. Jeff and his staff and I look
forward to continuing our working relationship in the future. I also want to thank the residents of Bellaire, Shadyside and the surrounding communities for allowing us to serve you and for entrusting us with your care. Your support and faith in our mission has led us to this point. As we make this move, we are committed to continuing to provide the best quality of care possible as we expand our services. Study Shows How to Relieve OA Pain In a medical study, 83 patients with osteoarthritis were assigned to receive either hands-on physical therapy (treatment group) or a pill that actually did nothing to help their pain without them knowing (placebo group). Tests were done to measure how well the people were doing 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 1 year later. The results were very impressive with the patients who had hands-on physical therapy combinedwithgentle,specificexercises.Theyshowedsignificant improvements in theirpain,mobility and function. By 8 weeks, patients were able to walk further and faster with much less, or completely resolved pain.Their joint stiffness, aches and mobility had improved by 55% as compared to the group who had no treatment. At one year, patients in the treatment group still were doing great in terms of less pain and more mobility. Other benefits included less need for surgery with only 5% of patients in the treatment group having undergone surgery as compared to 20% with the placebo group. Relieve Hip Pain In Minutes Try this movement if you are experiencing hip pain.
INGREDIENTS • 6 English muffins, sliced in half • 6 large eggs • 6 slices Cheddar cheese • 6 slices deli ham • Salt and freshly ground black pepper DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 5 ramekins, or a jumbo muffin tin and place on a cookie sheet. Crack one egg into each ramekin.Pierceeggyolkwitha forkandvery slightly beat. Season with salt and freshly groundpepper.Bakeeggs for12-15minutes
