ANZSCTS Multirisk https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20117015/

This article published in 2010 explains how the Australasian Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons developed a 12 variable pre-operative risk prediction model for 30 day mortality following cardiac surgery in an Australian cohort. The model uses age reference groups, gender, urgency of procedure, procedure type, previous cardiac surgery, NYHA class, ejection fraction estimate, re-operative dialysis, hypercholesterolaemia, previous vascular disease, BMI >25kg/m2 and constant.

EuroSCORE II https://academic.oup.com/ejcts/article/41/4/734/64622

EuroSCORE II refers to the latest version of the European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation, a cardiac risk model used for predicting mortality after cardiac surgery. The model uses patient-related factors, cardiac- related factors, operation-related factors, previous cardiac surgery, type of procedure(s) performed in detail and times of bypass, cross-clamp, deep hypothermic arrest and selective cerebral perfusion to calculate risk of mortality after surgery.
