La nueva imagen corporativa del edificio de administración y laboratorio farmacéutico de Synthon es rotunda y categórica. Una imagen de receptividad (color plateado) lograda íntegramente con elementos de acero, tanto en las fachadas de doble piel perforada del conjunto como en la estructura general. El edificio con forma de "Y" parece flotar sobre el agua. Se ingresa por un puente en diagonal que es el cordón umbilical que relaciona el cuerpo y el entorno. La laguna autosustentable (se regenera de manera natural) es parte de las estrategias bioclimáticas y medio ambientales del proyecto. El edificio tiene una base (1 er piso) de marcos y losas de hormigón y un cuerpo superior (2 do piso) en acero y vidrio. Está totalmente cubierto por un manto de acero perforado, una doble piel que permite proteger de la luz y radiación solar, y mediante un sistema Venturi natural enfriar las fachadas vidriadas por simple evaporación. De este modo se incorporan estrategias pasivas a los edificios (ventilación, iluminación y aporte térmico) además del uso de energía solar (agua caliente de todos los servicios) y jardines sustentables. El aparente hermetismo desde lo urbano revela otra realidad desde el interior, permitiendo un total control visual del entorno y claridad de luz natural, con espacios de trabajo diáfanos y luminosos.
The new corporate image of the Synthon administration building and pharmaceutical lab is clear and emphatic. Silver color steel elements on the double perforated skin facades of the complex, as in the overall structure, provide a warm welcoming atmosphere. The Y-shaped building seems to float over water. A diagonal bridge serves as entrance and umbilical cord connecting the volume with its surroundings. The self-sustaining pond (with natural regeneration) is part of the environmental bioclimatic strategies of the project. The first floor of the building forms a base of concrete frames and slabs supporting a steel and glass upper body. It is completely sheathed by a perforated steel mantle, a double skin that protects from light and solar radiation and by means of a natural Venturi system cools the glazed facades by simple evaporation. These and other passive strategies in ventilation, lighting and heat input, and the use of solar energy (hot water for all services) have been incorporated into the building, in addition to the sustainable gardens. From an urban point of view, the apparent exterior reserve transforms inside into full visual connection with the environment and clarity of natural light, with airy and bright workspaces.
