We have always focused on maternal angus that thrive in the toughest conditions. But we felt that some of the sires we used over the last few years have not lived up to our standards. We are extremely excited by Forever’s ability to take us back to the basics of making incredible Angus females. His pedigree is a who’s who listing of some of the greatest maternal sires of all time. DHD 6807, Emulation 5522, Ext, QAS Traveler 23-4, and Shoshone Vantage. Many astute breeders consider Candolier 376 to be the greatest maternal sire of all time. He dominated the breed for maternal quality for much of the 1970’s before the crazy frame era. We are very confident about the maternal and calving ease traits this bull will add to our program, but we have been very surprised by the early growth and muscle that we have seen in the bull calves.
