Packer was selected by McLennan Angus as the high selling bull in the 2015, 21 Angus sale. I have been impressed by the calves at Jason’s for many years. Finally in 2022 Jason agreed to sell him to us.
Packer’s dam is the Great Plains Estrada donor for 21 Angus. Packer is long bodied, thick made, athletic, bull with excellent feet. He ran out in the Badlands at age 9 with over 100 cows. The Packer calves are moderate at birth and he still ranks in the top 25% of the breed for weaning weight EPD. He is going to pass on more performance and frame than most of our previous sires. The calves are calm and easy going just like there dad. We are very happy with the calves this year. He will see heavy use in our program in future years. 21AR Packer 4313

Our fall calving program didn’t work out too well we only have 2 bulls to show for it, but this bull has been very impressive ever since he was born.
Part 2 of our fall calving program. He and his mother spent most of the winter out
in big pasture with no supplements. He started coming on this summer and looks really good now he should be able to cover extra cows compared to a true yearling bull.
