Como proyecto, emplazado en la estación Rondizzoni, se propone un volumen permeable en sentido transversal al eje de la Autopista Central, actual responsable de la segregación espacial del barrio en torno a la estación. El proyecto se posiciona como “el lugar” donde ocurren los traspasos transversales, los encuentros y desde donde se producen los distintos intercambios modales. Además la estación establece una relación directa con los Tribunales de Justicia, uno de los destinos predominantes de los usuarios, a través de una pasarela que intersecta el volumen de la estación. Posee una estructura de madera compuesta por marcos tridimensionales repetidos hasta lograr los 120 m de largo que alcanza el volumen. The project, located on Rondizzoni Metro Station, proposes a permeable volume, crossing the axis of the Central Highway, which is currently responsible for the spatial segregation of the neighborhood surrounding the station. The project is positioned as “the place” where crossings, meetings and the different modal exchanges occur. In addition the station provides a direct relationship with the Courts of Justice, one of the main user destinations, by means of a bridge that intersects the volume of the station. It has a wooden structure composed of a series of three-dimensional frames that cover the 120 m long volume.
