(*) Humberto Eliash es arquitecto graduado el año 1975 en la Universidad de Chile. Ejerce la profesión diseñando edificios de uso público especialmente en el ámbito educacional. Es profesor titular de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Chile. Fue vicepresidente del Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile y co-fundador de los SAL (Seminarios de Arquitectura Latinoamericana). Ha publicado numerosos libros y artículos sobre arquitectura moderna en Chile y América Latina. (*) Architect Humberto Eliash, graduated in 1975 from the University of Chile. His practice focuses on the design of public buildings especially in the educational field. He is a member of the faculty of the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Chile. He was vice president of the Association of Architects of Chile and co-founder of the SAL (Latin American Architecture Seminars). He has published many books and articles on modern architecture in Chile and Latin America.
