Se pretende transformar este parque en un conector urbano entre la zona alta y baja del terreno, reforzando la relación transversal desde el cerro al mar. Para ello se proponen tres vías de conexión separadas por el tipo de desplazamiento: 1. Reconstrucción del funicular ubicado en el eje central de la ruina para alojar el flujo peatonal. 2. Construcción de una ciclovía serpenteante en el sector suroriente del terreno. 3. Construcción de una calle que conecte vehicularmente las avenidas Angamos y Argentina.
The intention is to transform the park into an urban connector between the high and low sectors of the site, reinforcing the crosswise connection from the hill to the ocean. For this three connections are proposed organized by type of movement: 1. Reconstruction of the funicular located on the central axis of the ruin to accommodate pedestrian flows. 2. Construction of a meandering bike path in the southeast sector of the site. 3. Construction of a vehicular street that connects Angamos and Argentina avenues.
