Económicamente el plan maestro opera como un motor de oportunidades para nuevos usos que atraerán visitas bajo nuevos modelos de gestión, actores y programas que complementen las directrices de la Fundación Ruinas de Huanchaca y posibiliten mayores ingresos para su funcionamiento. Ambientalmente la estrategia asume al parque como una infraestructura del paisaje que no solo presenta atributos estéticos y culturales del jardín botánico, sino que utiliza al sitio como una “fábrica” que opera en una escala local para remediación de los suelos y manejo de recursos hídricos. From a financial point of view the master plan operates as an engine of opportunity for new uses that will attract visitors under new management models, actors and programs to complement the guidelines of the Fundación Ruinas de Huanchaca , and enable higher revenues for its operation. From an environmental point of view the strategy conceives the park as landscape infrastructure that not only features the aesthetic and cultural attributes of the botanical garden, but uses the site as a “factory” that operates on a local scale for soil remediation and the management of water resources.

Proponer programas e infraestructuras que promuevan el uso de sistemas de movilidad no motorizados a través de senderos peatonales y sistemas de bicicletas compartidas / Propose programs and infrastructure that promote the use of non-motorized mobility systems by means of pedestrian paths and bike sharing systems.
El parque operará como infraestructura ambiental a nivel metropolitano, mejorando la captura de partículas, ampliando la cobertura vegetal y disminuyendo la temperatura superficial / The park will operate as an environmental infrastructure at the metropolitan level, improving particle capture, increasing vegetation cover and decreasing surface temperature.
Proponer un parque botánico que sea un fomento al paisaje regional y referente en la forma de trabajar el paisaje en la ciudad / Proposal of a botanical park that promotes regional landscape features and provides a reference regarding urban landscape management.

A través de la fitoremediación, el parque funciona como estabilizador y remediador de la contaminación del suelo. Más que un proyecto, el parque es un proceso que se inició en 1892 / Through phytoremediation, the park works as a stabilizer and cure for soil pollution. More than a project, the park is a process that began in 1892.
El agua, su escasez y uso eficiente son articulados a través de la desalinización solar, hace viable la existencia del parque y define una forma de pensar el manejo del espacio público en toda la ciudad / Water, its scarcity and efficient use are articulated through solar desalination, making feasible the park's existence and defining a strategy for the management of public spaces throughout the city.
