A nivel de superficie el proyecto funciona como plaza y en los niveles subterráneos (Jardín Botánico) opera como un área de esparcimiento. La imagen minera se manifiesta mediante un relato espacial que recrea una atmósfera a partir de la masa excavada, en la cual se superponen diversas situaciones asociadas. El proyecto se formula fundamentalmente en dos sistemas estructurales que trabajan en conjunto: muros de contención y una estructura soportante de pilares y vigas que otorgan la atmósfera del Jardín Botánico. At the surface level the project serves as a square and the underground operates as a recreational area (Botanical Gardens). A spatial narrative that recreates an atmosphere rising from the excavated earth, on which various associated situations are overlaid, expresses the mining spirit. The project is mainly based on two structural systems working together: retaining walls and a supporting structure of columns and beams that provide the atmosphere of the Botanical Gardens.
