2. The Conference Location Swansea
Swansea is a dual-campus university, comprising the beach-front Singleton Park Campus and the £450million Bay Campus, with both located just a couple of miles from the bustling Swansea City Centre. Swansea is a city with a population of around 250,000, and is fast becoming a hub of sport, modern architecture and the arts. It was recently awarded the £1billion Bay City Deal, which has seen widespread development happening across the length and breadth of the city. Despite Swansea being a busy city, both campuses are located just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and a short drive from the Gower Peninsula; the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Gower is home to 3 Blue Flag Beaches; one of which, Llangennith, is regularly voted amongst Europe’s best beaches.
