study concludes that the current crisis of international law is fundamentally linked to structural power asymmetries within the international system and the persistence of Western dominance over its institutions and decision- making processes. In light of this, the study calls for reflecting on an alternative theoretical horizon based on the development of non-Western approaches to international law that accommodate civilisational and cultural pluralism, and contribute to building a more inclusive and representative international legal order – one that is capable of responding to contemporary global challenges on the basis of justice, sovereign equality and respect for the particularities of peoples and states. Keywords: international law, Western centrism, non-Western perspectives, Arab world, Non-Aligned Movement, liberal globalisation, international justice.
