BRODIE BOYD, OHIO Hi, my name is Brodie Boyd. I won the Ewe Grant purchase award last year. I purchased my ewe lamb named “Pickles” from MacCauley Suffolks with the help of Evan. This was my first Suffolk I had shown. I was able to show Pickles all last year, had a lot of fun, and learned a lot. I am glad I won the grant because I have found a breed of sheep I really like. I am planning to continue showing Suffolks and raise and breed them. I want to thank the Suffolk Foundation -for awarding me the money, MacCauley Suffolks- for letting me purchase one of your ewe lambs, Evan Snyder-for helping me pick “Pickles”, Mr. & Mrs Wiford- at the Ohio Suffolk Show and Kevin and Kerrin Fair. I can’t wait to show Pickles again this year! Thank you.
