CommunityCare In 2020, Wellstar team members gave so much of themselves during the pandemic. For team members who wanted to go above and beyond their role at Wellstar serving our neighbors, Wellstar introduced CommunityCare. CommunityCare connects team members with opportunities to serve Wellstar community partners through acts of service. Opportunities include both ongoing and scheduled events, including Wellstar’s Mobile Markets, Passport to Health events, and Day of Service. Wellstar’s Day of Service is an opportunity for team members to volunteer and support community partner organizations who address priority health needs across the communities we serve. On November 9, 2023, Wellstar hosted the second ever Wellstar Day of Service focused on serving community partners who provide access to food and housing, two priority health needs that were identified in Wellstar’s 2022 CHNA.
