WOW From: Tyler Honn, Boise To: Jeff Ward, Amber Hall, Tom Mosgrove, Trent McKnight, and Kevin Teague, Boise I just wanted to give a high five to this group for their support in planning and executing the Shea safety stand-down meeting and sub appreciation event. Our customers recognized our willingness and the effort we put into helping them achieve their safety goals, and they will remember this as they start awarding contracts on their next development. High Fives!
status and criteria. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us and providing
a “MAP” to achieving Blue Star status. Excellent communication and teamwork. EASY From: Danny Hyman, Boise To: Clinton Hawks, Caldwell I’d like to give a big high five to
Caldwell driver Clinton Hawks. He had a tricky delivery to make this morning, requiring the placement of 42’ I-joists to the interior of a shop.
He did this safely and without a lateral Moffett. Our builder was thoroughly impressed and very grateful for the service he received. Clinton handled the situation like a true professional, and we really appreciate his effort. Thanks Clinton!
GUIDE From: Javan Stansell, Bellevue To: Liz Wagner, Bellevue
One of my delivery orders got moved to another date. Liz put in the yard book reference that it was per the customer’s request. This gave me enough info to know what was going on, saved me a phone call, and she’s obviously communicating with customers. Stellar!
STRIVE From: Eric M. Heiden, Burley To: Tyler Bills, Burley
Tyler went above and beyond today by making us laminated cards that list the names and contact info of all the major vendors we use and all the FBS branches. This makes things much more LEAN for me, the rest of the outside sales staff, AND the inside sales staff because we don’t have to spend time looking up which vendor would be best to contact in a certain situation.
SAFE From: David Inocencio, Twin Falls To: Jeff Ward and Mike Nelson, Corporate SCI
I wanted to give a high five to Jeff Ward and Mike Nelson for coming all the way down from Boise to sit with us in Twin to discuss Blue Star
BOISE STORE GETS A FACELIFT FRESH LOOK, FRESH EXPERIENCE
First impressions matter — especially in retail. Our Boise location recently completed a full exterior repaint, giving the building a new, modern look designed to enhance the customer experience and reflect the quality we’re known for. Franklin employee, Eric Howell, took this commitment to a whole new level by single-handedly painting the entire front of our store in just five days, doing an incredible job. The refreshed façade is more than just a cosmetic upgrade. It signals our ongoing commitment to maintaining a welcoming, professional environment — inside and out. A well-maintained store exterior not only attracts new customers but also builds confidence and loyalty with those who already trust us for their building needs. Inside the store, several additional improvements are making an impact. The retail team collaborated on a strategic remodel that expanded the retail floor space. A key interior wall was also removed and replaced with a glass-paneled roll-up door, creating an open view into the warehouse. Customers and team members alike have already noticed the difference. The sharp lines, vibrant color, and clean finish create a more inviting curb appeal that aligns with the high standards of service and product quality offered inside. It’s a visible reminder that we care about every detail — from the first look to the final delivery.
This update is part of our broader focus on continuous improvement across all locations. As we invest in our physical spaces, we’re also investing in better customer experiences, stronger brand identity, and long-term growth. Next time you visit the Boise store, take a moment to notice the improvements. It’s not just a new coat of paint; it’s a symbol of the care, dedication, and craftsmanship that make Franklin Building Supply a great place to work and do business with.
