Dear Valued Customer,
Delivery expenses in both our Metro and Upstate markets have continued to rise over the last year(s), making it extremely challenging to continue to offer a high level of service without offsetting our costs.
The majority of wholesalers in the marketplace already have minimums and fees associated with their deliveries, and at a much higher rate than we are implementing.
Effective January 3, 2024, Opici Family Distributing of New York will be implementing Delivery Minimums and Delivery Charges for all orders not meeting our delivery minimum requirements. As per our revised Terms and Conditions in our January price book:
“ Delivery: A $20.00 delivery charge will be applied to all sales orders less than $250.00 or 3 cases, to all counties in NY ”
The delivery charge will appear as a separate line item on your order. Delivery charges are considered reportable by the New York State Liquor Authority and failure to pay for delivery charges within the invoice terms will require posting your account to the state as delinquent.
