SEVENFOLD DUTY OF BELIEVERS In view of th e approaching end of th is age— Events moving w ith g reat rap id itj'—-Great tem ptations — G r e a t privileges. 1. Separation from This Age. (a) The age is religious, bu t anti- Christian. Be not conformed to it, Rom. 12 : 2 . Living soberly, righteously and Godly in this age, T itus 2:12. (b ) Separation from erro rs of doc­ trine. Be not unequally yoked, 2 Cor. 6:14. Hold fast th e form of sound words, 2 Tim. 1:13. Do not bid God-speed to faithless teachers, 2 John 10, 11. 2. S u rrend er All to th e Lord Jesus. (a) S urrender of self, Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 6:19. (b) Surrender of substance, 2 Cor. 8 :5 ; Acts 2:45. All a t His disposal. 3. Study of -God’s Word.
