temple in which Jesus comes to live when we love Him? Then we should know how to make these bodies th e best possible, should we not? Now we will bow our heads and ask Jesus to help us to keep our bodies strong and clean. Lesson Story.—Do you boys and girls love little babies? Some of you have a little baby b ro th er or sister in the home, and O how you love to hold and care for th e dear little baby, for of course our own sister or b ro ther is ju st the sweetest baby ever. Now th is morn ing we are going to hear about a won derful baby. A long tim e ago th e re was a home of a fath e r and m other who loved God very' much, b u t th ere was no little child in th e home. The fath er was a p riest in th e temple. One day while the priest, whose name was Zacha- rias, was burning incense on the golden a lta r in th e temple, he saw an angel standing beside th e golden altar. At first Zacharias was frightened, b u t th e angel told him not to be afraid. And now listen to w hat the angel said to Zacharias. The angel told him God was going to send a dear little baby boy to him and his wife. This fath er and mother did not have to even choose a name for th e ir baby, for th e angel told th e fath e r his name was to be John. This baby was going to do a wonderful work for God when he grew up, so he must have a clean, strong body, so the angel told th e fath e r he m ust never drink wine, nor any strong drink, and th a t th is baby would be filled w ith God’s Holy Spirit from the tim e he was born. The angel told th e fath e r th a t when th is little baby boy grew up he was to tell the people about Jesus, th e Saviour Who was to come to the world, for th is baby was born before Jesus was born into th is world. Children, we see how impossible it would have been^for John to do th e g reat work he did if his body had not been clean and strong. This
