THE K I N G ’ S BUS I NE S S The tracts are selected with the greatest care so that nothing of a de nominational character shall 'be used, but that each one shall ring true to the Word of God. The Gospel of John is^he chief factor in the work, hun dreds of them having been distributed, with the deep conviction that God will honor His own Word, the book having been written for this very pur- posé (John 20:31). - “ But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing.ye might have life through His-name.” This work can be done by any band of laymen anywhere, provided they have a definite conviction that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God; that they themselves have been born again; that it is the believer’s business to seek to bring to others the joy of salvation. , The reflex influence of the work is seen in the life of those churches which are true to the Word. It is Scriptural, it is unselfish, it is wise, it is joyful. It comes more nearly to following the method used by the early church than anything we have ever known. The following statistics of results accomplished during the first three months of 1922 are given in order that the plan may be more thoroughly understood. A cheerful response will be given to any layman desiring further in formation.

That evil day will be cut short, By Him alone Who peace can bring, To plowshares then they’ll beat the sword, When Jesus Christ returns as KING! No League of Nations can prevail, Nor sinful men to peace be won, Till He, THE PRINCE OF PEACE, comes back, This is the work of GOD THE SON! ‘ ' —A. L. Murphy.

GO FORTH “ And this gospel of the Kingdom must be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matt. 24:14. Go forth, ye heralds of the cross, Proclaim the kingdom soon to come; His waiting time will soon be past, And He’ll appear; God’s Royal Son! His second coming must be told To nations now that scoff and sneer; Though still they scorn, and still reject, The coming of the KING is near! They cast Him out when first He came, And said, "We will not have this man,” But when He comes the second time, He comes as KING and not as LAMB. This age of grace is closing now, The Bride will soon be caught away; The tribulation’s nearly due, And anti-Christ will have his day.

GOD’S ETERNAL LAWS A minister, taking his morning walk, came across a stonehreaker. After giv ing him a cheery “ Good morning” , he remarked that he had a deal of work1 to get through. “ Aye,” said the man, “ them stones are like the Ten Com mandments.” “ Why so?” replied the parson- “ You can go on breaking ’em,” came the reply, “ but you can never get rid of ’em.” ASSURED AND INSURED INVESTMENTS
