We recognise that E-Learning can sometimes be a bit laborious and is seen as a tick box exercise. Our DPO has agreed to provide an IG Training workshop later in 2023 as an alternative to the E- Learning package.

Questions about our Organisation

Over 90% of the staff reported that morale was either good or very good at our Organisation and they would recommend working here to a friend.

95% of the staff said that they would be happy for a friend or relative to receive care from us.

At least 85% of the staff said our organisation acts on concerns raised by patients, carers and families. Over 90% of them feel safe to speak up about anything that concerns them, and they also feel confident that their concerns would be addressed. We recognise how important it is for any of the staff to be able to speak up about concerns and are really pleased that they feel able to do this. As important is that the staff feel their concerns are acted upon, so we would encourage them to follow up on any concerns they raise. If the staff feel more comfortable raising issues outside their own team or they are concerned about the safety of the service they work in, then they can contact the Freedom to Speak Up Guardians, who are detailed in our Freedom to Speak Up Policy.

What one thing could be improved?

Many of the staff mentioned communication in one way or another, and it is clear from the comments that some of the staff feel that they don’t always know what is happening outside of their area of work. We do have staff meetings 3 times a week via Teams, which we encourage all of the staff to attend. The staff team meetings provide an opportunity for Managers to update everyone on new areas of work, amongst other information on services we deliver. The staff are encouraged that if they have any specific ideas for improvement to please let us know.
