Mayo Clinic has been awarded the prestigious 2026 W.O. Lawton Award by the National Association of Workforce Boards.

Mayo Clinic has been awarded the prestigious 2026 W.O. Lawton Award by the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB). This national recognition highlights Mayo Clinic’s outstanding leadership, community partnerships, and innovative approach to workforce development. The W.O. Lawton Business Leadership Award honors businesses that have made the commitment of time, money, and leadership to make their community’s workforce and economy more vibrant. Mayo Clinic was nominated by Workforce Development, Inc. and the Southeast Minnesota Workforce Development Board and went on to be selected as the national recipient by a distinguished panel representing more than 570 workforce development boards across the United States, highlighting the Clinic’s exceptional commitment to workforce excellence and community impact.
