DROP-IN PROGRAMS
Walk With a Doc
Walk with a Doc is an internationally-recognized walking program for community members who are interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and learn about health straight from a trained professional, instead of the internet. You don’t need any special gear and there are no special rules. Walk your own pace and distance. The South King County chapter is run by local family physician Dr. Dane Nimako, MD. Free, open to all ages. Meet outside the Burien Library at 11:00 am. https://walkwithadoc.org/join-a-walk/locations/burien- washington
