HOW TO ORDER
The Metal Door Program can be found in your Aspire Specification and Price Catalogs. This section covers in detail all options, availability and pricing. This tutorial will cover how to order metal doors by themselves in Aspire. 1) Create an Aspire Order as normal selecting at least one Header. (Ex. LUX MDS CICNMP FAC MPL NAT), then click at the bottom of your ordering screen on Metal Door Search. You can choose any header combination available in Aspire, as the Metal Door program will not be Aspire door style specific. 2) We have created an Easy Part Search – Metal Door utility that functions very similar to Easy Parts Search. a. Select the Item Code (ex. W3030) that you are wanting to put a metal door on b.Select the Metal Door Style c. Select the Frame Finish d. Select the Insert Type You are also given the ability to select if any of the 4 modifications listed below will be used on the cabinet. These consist of the following.
• Toe Kick Added (TKA) • Touch to Open (TTOIN) • Modify Height (MH) • Modify Width (MW)
Note: If other modification options are added to the cabinet for which a metal door will be ordered, those will need to be sent through our You Draw It Program. Contact your Customer Service Representative for more details on this process. 3) Once you have made your complete selection you will click on the Search button and your results will be displayed. 4) The Results will show your size in the Description field and List Price. If you choose to add this to your order you will click on the Copy button. a. Once copied you will paste this item into your Line Item back on your Direct Connect order screen under the Material column. You will then tab through to your next Line Item b.At this time, a pop-up will ask you what quantity you want to order. Select your quantity and click on Continue.
PFMDR — Prep For Metal Door This option is available on many cabinets and only removes the doors. If ordered for cabinets with drawers, the drawers will not be affected. Cabinet(s) with Prep For Metal Door (PFMDR), Prep For Metal Door Top (PFMDRTOP) or Prep For Metal Door Bottom (PFMDRBTM) will include the necessary hinges but will not include the metal door. Doors will need to be ordered separately and field installed on the appropriate cabinets. This option is not available with any other options that remove the doors, install kits to doors, or create pocket doors. It is not available on coplanar cabinets or with the Carlisle metal door style. For the Carlisle metal door style, see the metal door installed option.

Pricing Standard cabinets will use PFMDR option which will eliminate doors and charge 90% of list price. PFMDRTOP and PFMDRBTM will only eliminate top or bottom doors if used on a standard cabinet. Pricing is 90% of list. Pricing will use Finished Interior Finished Door (FIFD) option in conjunction with the Prep For Metal Door (PFMDR) option (at no charge) and only charge 25% for FIFD option. PFMDR will add hinges to be shipped with the cabinet. PFMDRTOP and PFMDRBTM, if ordered with FIFD option, will eliminate all doors on the cabinet. All doors (metal or standard) will need to be ordered separately and field installed. Pricing is no charge for PFMDRTOP/ PFMDRBTM. FIFD pricing will be 25% up-charge. No cabinets will be restricted for this option if METALDR can be ordered through Metal Door Search or custom metal doors can be ordered through the You Draw It Program.
