Headquartered in California, Flame Enterprises now has its Maryland and Eastern U.S. office within St. John Properties’ Riverside Technology Park in Frederick, Maryland. “Our East Coast office move to the new St. John’s property devel- oped from the need to assemble and distribute products in a location where the product expertise was located,” Dave Boush, vice president of Flame Enterprises, said. “This expanded location provides new possibilities for our customers on the East Coast. The new location allowed us to

maximize the square footage we lease with a custom build-out, which results in an overall savings to the company on the lease term.” St. John Properties and Flame Enterprises worked together on the property from beginning to end. “Once we encountered SJP in our space search, we were locked in,” Boush said. “The design process was easy and accommodating, as we revised our plans numerous times until we locked in on a final design. The ability to obtain reworked floorplans quickly and the ease of customizing the space made it the clear winner for us. Our combination of very nice office space with climate controlled

warehouse and assembly area provides us with a solid location to work from for many years to come.” Other benefits are the location’s easy access to north, central and south sides of town for employees, the business park setup and affordable lease terms. St. John Properties’ straightforward business approach attracted Flame Enterprises and helped them settle in. “It was clear from the start that the people at SJP were going to make the move easy and seam- less,” Boush said. “We were right! Granted, the property was perfect, but in the end, it was the people that set [St. John Properties] apart.”
