LPAPA's annual Art & Nature juried art show celebrates the best of nature and the natural beauty that surrounds us. All artwork is available through LPAPA's online auction until 5pm Sunday November 15, 2020.

Each year, in collaboration with the Laguna Art Museum, the Laguna Beach community celebrates with art and nature around town. Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) is proud to present its Annual “ Art & Nature ” juried art show celebrating the natural beauty that surrounds us as a unique virtual gallery exhibition and sale of artwork created by LPAPA Members. LPAPA's Executive Director Rosemary Swimm shares , “In creating a work of art for the “Art & Nature” show, LPAPA artists are given the opportunity to express the beauty of nature in the landscape as they capture a fleeting moment, the calm tranquility, changing seasons or the glow of natural light on their canvas. Works created both in plein air and in the studio are included in this show.” LPAPA artists are dedicated to painting the landscape and keeping the century old plein air painting legacy and tradition alive in Laguna Beach! This year’s “Art & Nature” juried show is being presented as an online virtual gallery exhibition and sale, with special pricing through an auction feature, in our continued response to the restrictions and challenges related to the pandemic and LPAPA’s desire to support its artists. This format provides a unique opportunity for collectors to add a special work of art to their collection, while supporting LPAPA and the Artists!

All artwork available with a starting auction price of 75% of the painting’s unframed retail price, with bidding at minimum $10 increments, as well as a “buy now” option at full price. Each artist will receive his or her full commission equal to 50% of the full retail price, and LPAPA will receive the portion of sale proceeds above the artist's commission. Artwork is priced to sell unframed giving the Collector their personal choice for framing. As an added value, Randy Higbee of King of Frame is offering LPAPA’s Art & Nature collectors a 40% discount on framing! Collectors may also make framing inquiries with the artists. Exhibition and auction sale dates are November 9 - 15, 2020, with auction sales commencing Monday November 9 at 10:00 am, and ending Sunday November 15th at 5:00 pm. LPAPA is hosting a Virtual Reception & Awards Presentation on Thursday, November 12th, 5:00 to 6:00 pm , with awards to be announced at 5:30 pm.
