Doug Graham | Prinoth Hailing from Jindabyne, Australia, Dougie has had an illustrious ca- reer spanning over two decades and multiple continents. A member of the power trio behind Perisher parks, Doug started out as a wee lad on the Main Range where he learned how to float an LMC 3700 across Perisher Creek and plow the trenches of Tube Town. Logging multiple back-to-back seasons at places like Palisades Tahoe, Can- yons, and Whistler Blackcomb, Doug honed his skills as an operator and became a proficient park builder, lending his talent to builds such as the Red Bull Cube Pipe, the Seventh Heaven Jump, and his favorite, a massive hip for Shred Bots that he built with Charles Beckinsale and Brandon Dodds amongst the mint bush at Blue Cow/Perisher. His expertise extends to significant capital projects; lever - aging his experience at Snowbowl, Yosh managed and contributed to the installation of five lifts in just nine years and large-scale snow - making projects across the United States and Canada. His capabili- ties further expanded through contributions to major build projects at Mammoth Mountain, including events like Snowboarder maga- zine’s Superpark 21, Holy Bowly, and High Performance Camps. Corley Howard | Kirkwood Corley is currently the grooming and terrain parks manager for Kirk- wood, Calif. Maddie has completed and been a part of fabrication projects for Thredbo Ski Resort, Arena Snowparks, and Kosciuszko National Park. Phil Pereira | PistenBully Phil Pereira is the snowcat supervisor at Woodward Copper, where he runs a PistenBully nearly year-round to maintain and build some of Colorado’s top terrain parks. Since starting at Copper in 2016 on the hand crew, Phil has spent the last eight years in the cat, farming snow and shaping features in every season. His build experience includes major events like X Games, Dew Tour, Grand Prix, USASA Nationals, as well as constructing 22-foot pipes and building for Woodward Summer Camp. In addition to grooming, Phil is skilled in refabbing and welding park features and has a background as a vehicle mechanic, making him a versatile asset both in and out of the machine. Steve Petrie | Arena Snowparks Steve Petrie arrived in Whistler, B.C., in the early ‘90s looking for a job that would allow him to snowboard as much as possible. He joined Blackcomb as a groomer in 1994—the first year the mountain built a terrain park. After 11 years of working back-to-­ back winters and summers, he founded Arena Snowparks in 2004. Since then, the ASP team has traveled the world building parks, half pipes, snowcrosses, and events, including multiple Winter Olympic Games. Over time, he traded the camera for code, leading engineering teams at several startups before founding Ullr—a platform that helps ski resorts manage terrain parks, lifts, and operations. David started Ullr in 2017 to bring tech to the mountains he loves. He lives in the mountains near Asheville, N.C., with his wife and son. david@ullr.ski Logan Stewart | Timberline Logan began working at Timberline in the summer of 1999 as a lift operator. Soon he moved into park crew and then summer hill co- ordinator, overseeing the summer ski operation. He’s now the Tim- berline mountain manager in charge of several departments at the resort, which means he spends a lot of time in meetings, a little bit of time in a snowcat, more time at formal lunches, and the rest of the time at his desk online shopping for flannel shirts, leather work boots, and the perfect accessories to match. Alex Storjohann is a seasoned terrain park manager with 16 years of snowcat experience and more than five years leading park operations. His resume includes three X Games builds, multiple SuperParks, Peace Park, and 10 consecutive years shaping the Gerry Lopez Big Wave Chal- lenge. A respected industry veteran, Alex has mentored some of the top builders in the business and is known for his hands-on approach to training, helping the next generation grow through experience and practical knowledge.­ Landon Taylor | Snow Park Technologies Landon has more than 20 years of experience behind the sticks. His career has been defined by his dedication to providing high quality work. Landon started as a teen working at Snow Summit and Big Bear Mountain, Calif. He’s built some of the largest courses in the world for events including the Burton U.S. Open and the X Games, as well as for Woodward Park City, Utah. Landon is also an experienced motocross, mountain bike, and rally car course builder. His expertise in the fields of dirt and snow has led to him being part of the year-round action sports event industry. Casey Tratz | Timberline Casey grew up in southern Oregon and got his start at Windells in 2014, working for Hall of Fame skateboarder Tom “Wally” Inouye. Af - ter a stint in Timberline’s café, he joined the park crew and gradually transitioned into grooming, picking up shifts and learning through ride-alongs. In 2018, Casey became a full-time cat operator, starting in alpine grooming before moving into terrain park builds. Now the head builder and supervisor at Timberline, Casey says his favorite part of the job is building and testing jumps—“Building something usually gets me stoked to go ride,” he says—and his second favorite part is being vice president of the Logan Stewart fan club. Phillip Van Why | HKD Snowmakers Phillip Van Why is a master electrician, gearhead, and HKD Snowmak- ers’ technical guru in the West. Phil can make snow at Breckenridge and Copper Mountain simultaneously, while rewiring a fan gun and helping his oldest son with homework. Mike Williams | PistenBully Mike Williams started his snowcat career in the Ski Area Manage- ment program at Gogebic Community College in 2008. He then went to Vail, Colo., for an internship and ended up operating there for just shy of 10 years, a few of those seasons building ter- rain parks. He then transitioned to the sales side, moving to Boze- man, Mont., and covering the Northern Intermountain Region for Prinoth. After that, he moved home to the great state of Michigan and has been the Midwest sales rep for PistenBully for five years now. Alex Wood | Prinoth Alex is the engineering manager for Prinoth Snow Grooming North America, with 19 years of experience working on snowcats—of- ficially more than half his life dedicated to these incredible ma - chines.
