Women's Conference Program 2025

Conference Overview, cont.

A Source of Joy and Strength: Hope in Christ is a source of joy and strength for believers. Romans 15:13 (NIV) states, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." This joy is not dependent on external conditions but is a fruit of the Spirit's work within. Motivation for Holiness: The hope of Christ's return and the promise of eternal life motivate believers to live holy and godly lives. 1 John 3:3 (NIV) declares, “All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure." This hope inspires a life of obedience and sanctification. We can strengthen our hope in Christ by … Praying often. God’s word says to “Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV) When you don’t know what to pray - pray God’s Word.

Reminding ourselves who we are in Christ. We are a royal priesthood whom He delights in, children of God (His children), chosen, loved, forgiven, and have the hope of eternity.

Confiding in a friend. We don’t have to suffer alone. We can reach out to other sisters in Christ who can provide support in prayer, love, encouragement, motivation, and accountability. Embrace the Christian community of sisters, and let them walk beside you. Taking care of ourselves (Self-care). Take a walk. Looking at nature can be therapeutic. As we marvel at God’s creation, let’s thank Him. Let’s praise Him. The enemy can’t handle our praise, which frees us to experience the hope Christ provides.

Counting our blessings. This can be in the form of naming or writing them down, visually looking at all that God has done, and seeing how good God has been.

Assembling ourselves. Do not neglect fellowship with other believers. It can be hard to maintain the same intensity and level of fellowship when experiencing difficult situations; however, assembling ourselves positions us to be encouraged, prayed for, and loved on. Don’t miss out on the blessing of fellowship. Staying in the Word. The word of God should be alive and active in us. It is life. “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)
